Getting there
Muzdalifah sits between Arafat and Mina, about 12 km east of Makkah. It is not served by public transport outside Hajj; ziyarat tours include it on the Makkah route, typically between Arafat and Mina.
Allow 30 minutes. There is little to see outside Hajj beyond the open ground and Masjid al-Mashar al-Haram, and that is precisely the point, the contrast with two million pilgrims is the thing worth seeing.
