5. Download and print. Jeddah immigration asks for paper, not a phone screen.
What it costs
₹14,500 per adult including the mandatory medical insurance. Children aged 2-11 pay about ₹11,900; infants under 2 are free but still need a passport and an application.
The government fee is fixed. Agents quoting ₹25,000-₹35,000 are adding a service charge, which is negotiable and often unnecessary.
Why applications fail
Almost every rejection is a document formatting error, not an eligibility problem. The three commonest are a photograph failing the white-background or face-proportion rule, a provisional rather than confirmed hotel booking, and a name mismatch between passport and bookings.
The fee is non-refundable on rejection, so checking before submitting is worth the time.
