Traveller reviews

Collected after return, tied to a booking reference, and published including the two-star ones.

Every review is tied to a booking reference and requested after the traveller returns. We do not collect reviews at the point of booking, which is when people are most positive and least informed.

What travellers rate us on

Hotel distance accuracy, operator responsiveness, value for money, visa handling and ground transport. Ground transport consistently scores lowest across the market, the Jeddah transfer at 3 am is where most operators are weakest.

What we do with negative reviews

They stay up. We pass them to the operator, and repeated failures on the same issue lead to delisting.

What the five scores mean

Hotel distance accuracy (4.7), whether the walking distance we published matched the walk they made.

Operator responsiveness (4.5), whether the group leader answered when called.

Value for money (4.4), the package against what they expected to pay.

Visa handling (4.8), the highest score, because the process is now genuinely fast.

Ground transport (4.2), the lowest, consistently, across the whole market.

Why ground transport scores lowest

Most flights from India land in Jeddah between 02:00 and 05:00. That is when transfers are thinnest, phone lines are unstaffed and a 90-minute wait is common.

It is a structural problem in the market rather than one operator's failing, which is why we publish the score rather than hide it. Ask any operator specifically what happens if your flight lands at 3 am and nobody is at arrivals.
