How the tours work
The classic circuit - Quba, Uhud, Qiblatain, Seven Mosques - takes 3 hours and runs morning and afternoon. Praying two rakah at Masjid Quba is reported to carry the reward of an Umrah, which is why every tour anchors on it. Extended tours add the Salman Farsi date farm and Beer Ghars.
Rawdah is separate - and needs a permit
The most important visit in Madinah is inside Masjid an-Nabawi itself: giving salam at the Prophet’s grave and praying in the Rawdah. This is not on any coach tour - it needs a free timed permit booked in the Nusuk app. How to book your Rawdah permit.
Questions
What are the main ziyarat places in Madinah?
Masjid Quba, Mount Uhud, Masjid Qiblatain and the Seven Mosques form the standard coach circuit. Jannat ul-Baqi is a walk from the Haram, and the Rawdah inside Masjid an-Nabawi needs a Nusuk permit.
Is the Rawdah part of the ziyarat tour?
No. Rawdah entry is a free timed permit booked in the Nusuk app, separate from any coach tour. Book it as soon as your visa is issued - slots fill days ahead.
How long does Madinah ziyarat take?
The standard four-stop circuit takes about 3 hours. With the date farm and Beer Ghars added, allow 4.
Are Madinah ziyarat tours included in Umrah packages?
Nearly always. Indian operators include one Makkah and one Madinah half-day tour as standard; confirm it is on your inclusion list before booking.
